The Catron County Historical Society, founded in January of 2008, is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to preserve, present, educate, and inform by increasing the knowledge of Catron County history through outings, programs, oral history interviews, and a compilation of books pertaining to Catron County.We are in the process of developing a museum and visitor center, continuing with an oral history library and book library.
The future of the CCHS is with the members and volunteers who help to preserve the history of Catron County.
Members receive a bimonthly newsletter delivered by email or US mail (mailing at an additional $10 per year for individual and family membership) and are invited to special members-only events. Donations (and memberships) are tax-deductable.
